Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and collaborative communications leader, the full-time Associate Director, Oncology Communications will advance the above-brand narrative across Gilead Oncology and Kite, supporting global product communications while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner on the development and execution of the above-brand oncology narrative, ensuring consistency and impact across communications
- Contribute to thought leadership strategies, including executive visibility and reputation-building moments
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align and integrate communications planning within the oncology portfolio
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or master's degree and 8 years of experience, preferably in PR agency settings
- Significant experience in communications, public affairs, or a related field, ideally within biopharma and/or oncology
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans across complex organizations
- Strong understanding of scientific and clinical communications with experience in narrative development
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across cross-functional teams
