Associate Director, Project Management

Job Summary

To manage early-stage global Orexin development programs, the full-time Associate Director, Project Management will leverage project management and drug development experience while working remotely from Indiana.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Team Leader to manage a cross-functional matrix development team and sub-teams
• Lead the development and maintenance of a detailed, integrated program Gantt chart and provide summary views for team and executive management
• Identify and manage interdependencies and critical path activities to support program-level scenario planning and risk management strategies

Required Qualifications

• BS with 8+ years or MS/MBA with 6+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech R&D environment, including 4+ years in project management
• Experience managing project teams through IND-enabling activities and Phase 1 development
• Proven expertise in drug development and registration, including early and late-stage clinical and regulatory interactions
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in decision analysis methodologies and related tools
• Expert knowledge of project management principles, with PMP certification highly desired
