Associate Director, Research Analyst

Job Summary

Leading the programming and research of fund tax loss harvesting processes, the full-time Associate Director, Research Analyst will work remotely to manage fixed income, pure equity, and mixed funds while utilizing advanced data management and analysis tools.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and enhance the tax loss harvesting initiatives for various fund types
• Develop and optimize data management and analysis tools to support quantitative investment processes
• Collaborate across departments to clarify and improve optimization features and user interface tools

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Three years of experience in building optimization engines and machine learning pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and statistical modeling for client account testing and optimization
• Experience in simulating tax alpha and analyzing tax loss harvesting capabilities
• Ability to engineer and compare optimization solvers and resolve conflicts in tax optimization matrices
