Associate Director Scientific Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Scientific Communications - CNS.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and deliver a comprehensive, globally aligned medical communications strategy for the relevant therapeutic area portfolio
• Provide guidance and oversight for the development of core scientific content and manage the global publications plan
• Oversee the execution of the global publication plan, ensuring timely and compliant submission of high-quality abstracts, posters, and manuscripts

Qualifications:

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of clinical development and medical science
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing guidance or oversight to a direct report or significant project team
• Extensive hands-on experience in medical writing and managing the development of core scientific content
• Demonstrated experience in publication management, including coordinating authors and overseeing submissions to journals/congresses
