Associate Director, Scientific Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Scientific Communications - CNS.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and deliver a comprehensive medical communications strategy and tactical plan for the therapeutic area portfolio
• Provide guidance and oversight for the development of core scientific content and manage the global publication plan
• Oversee the execution of publication strategy, including planning and dissemination of data through peer-reviewed journals and congresses

Qualifications:

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of clinical development and medical science
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Scientific Communications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• At least 3 years of experience providing guidance or oversight to team members or projects
• Extensive experience in medical writing and managing the development of core scientific content for global use
• Demonstrated experience in publication management and adherence to Good Publication Practices (GPP)
