Associate Director, Scientific Communications

Job Summary

Combining scientific writing expertise with strategic client management, the full-time Associate Director, Scientific Communications will independently lead the development of high-quality scientific deliverables, including manuscripts and presentations, while supporting projects in real-world evidence and health economics.

Key responsibilities

• Independently draft and finalize a range of scientific communication materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining timelines and quality while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements and training related to scientific communications

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant life science, public health, or health economics-related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in scientific/medical writing and evidence synthesis within the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven expertise in writing related to real-world evidence, epidemiology, and health economics outcomes research
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EndNote, and Adobe Creative Suite
