Associate Director, US Reimbursement

Job Summary

To support sustainable patient access to Impella Heart Recovery therapies, the fully remote Associate Director, US Reimbursement will develop and execute U.S. reimbursement, coding, and health policy strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage U.S. reimbursement strategy across various healthcare settings for Impella products and services
• Interpret CMS and commercial payer policies to inform long-term access strategies and analyze claims data for reimbursement performance
• Serve as a reimbursement subject matter expert, engaging with physician societies and health policy stakeholders to support advocacy initiatives

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in the U.S. healthcare payer system, including CMS payment structures
• Strong experience with healthcare claims, billing databases, and payer policy analysis
• Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations
• Minimum 5 years of MedTech experience with demonstrated reimbursement and/or health policy leadership
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health economics, health policy, or a related field
