Associate Distribution Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting electric utility design throughout North Jersey, the remote Associate Distribution Engineer will perform field engineering work, develop design packages for electrical distribution systems, and ensure project quality for leading utility clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field engineering tasks, including data collection and site photography of utility poles
• Develop design and construction work packages for overhead and underground electrical distribution systems
• Perform engineering calculations and support construction phases while ensuring compliance with standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET-accredited institution
• 1-3 years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to perform extensive outdoor fieldwork year-round
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
