Associate Drafting Technician

Job Summary

Supporting advanced engineering projects, the full-time Associate Drafting Technician will create detailed technical drawings from sketches and marked-up prints, utilizing manual drafting techniques and CAD tools, while working onsite or remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare basic drawings and sketches of components or equipment from rough sketches or verbal instructions
• Use manual drafting tools or CAD software to produce clear and accurate drawings that adhere to established design guidelines
• Revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring all changes comply with technical requirements and drafting conventions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of drafting experience through coursework, internships, or professional work
• Basic knowledge of manual drafting techniques and familiarity with CAD systems
• Ability to interpret simple sketches, diagrams, and marked-up prints
• Must be a U.S. citizen with valid documentation
