Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Editor to lead and evolve their destinations coverage while contributing to digital storytelling, editorial operations, and social strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the destinations section, including editorial planning, assignments, and publishing
• Assign, edit, and produce original destination stories and concept biweekly trip packages
• Oversee social media efforts and guide a social contractor while monitoring channels for opportunities

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in digital editorial, journalism, or content production
• Strong editing and storytelling skills with an eye for structure and clarity
• Experience managing freelancers and editorial workflows
• Familiarity with social media trends and audience behavior
• Hands-on backpacking experience and a passion for outdoor storytelling
