Job Summary

Enthusiastic and detail-oriented, the full-time Associate Editor will work remotely to cover medtech news, source story ideas, and produce engaging content for MassDevice and Medical Design & Outsourcing while collaborating with a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

Post up to 5 news articles and features daily, focusing on quality content
Source and pitch relevant story ideas related to medtech trends and industry news
Assist with webinars, podcasts, and support various projects within the Life Sciences organization

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in journalism and/or communications or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of medtech, financial reporting, technology, and engineering is a plus
Experience with MS Office, WordPress, and understanding of SEO
Strong writing and proofreading skills, with a deadline-oriented approach
