Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Editor for Ambulatory Surgery Center News (ASCN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Create compelling, enterprising journalism by setting editorial direction and producing high-quality reporting
• Act as the editorial voice and public face of ASCN, representing the brand at industry events and engaging with audiences
• Spark discussion and build communities around reporting by engaging readers and facilitating conversations

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in reporting, writing, content creation, or community management; health care or business experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field preferred
• Strong digital savviness with the ability to interpret analytics and drive data-informed decisions
• Proven aptitude for public presence, comfortable on stage and in interviews
• Ability to quickly learn complex business trends and health care policy issues
