Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, assign, and edit 1-3 stories per day
• Pitch and write 2-4 stories per month
• Develop and maintain relationships with freelancers and contributors

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years editing experience, preferably at a tech or science publication
• Minimum 1 year experience writing, preferably for a science publication
• Strong grasp of AP style and standard editorial practices
• General delightful disposition with an ability to deliver helpful feedback
