Associate Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting utility energy efficiency programs remotely, the full-time Associate Engineer will analyze program data, develop methodologies for energy savings calculations, and produce reports based on engineering findings.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze energy efficiency program data using Excel and other tools
• Evaluate and develop methodologies to determine energy savings for various efficiency technologies and programs
• Conduct on-site verification of energy efficiency measures and produce high-quality reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering, physics, environmental sciences, or a related field
• Completed coursework or professional experience related to energy efficiency or sustainability
• Understanding of engineering principles underlying building energy use
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Python
• Detail-oriented with strong quality assurance skills
