Associate Faculty - Data Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing academic program, the part-time virtual Associate Faculty - Data Architect will instruct undergraduate and graduate courses, engage with students to promote academic success, and perform various classroom-related activities in accordance with university guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course content and assessments while facilitating student understanding of real-world applications
• Maintain an engaged classroom presence and provide timely support to foster student growth and success
• Perform additional duties such as coaching and overseeing student practicum experiences as required by the course

Required qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Data Management/Analytics or Data Sciences, or a related field with 18 graduate credits in relevant areas
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, or Information Assurance
• Master's degree or higher with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years in a managerial role
• Experience with major relational database languages and applications, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2
• Current knowledge in the field within the last 3 years and a record of scholarship within the last five years for graduate-level teaching
