Associate Field Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Field Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support fiber optic validation and testing activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Review and validate fiber installation quality, including routing, labeling, termination, and splicing
• Assist in the development and completion of test result packages and turnover documentation for customer acceptance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fiber optic installation, testing, or telecommunications infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with fiber testing equipment (OLTS, OTDR) required
• Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and BICSI practices preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and test requirements
