Job Summary

Processing financial transactions for the claims team, the full-time Associate Financial Claims Specialist will manage stop and void transactions, handle overpayment calculations, and assist with research on uncashed checks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Process stop payment and void transactions through the claims system and banking platform
  • Calculate and document overpayments or underpayments, and assist in recovery efforts
  • Monitor and communicate issues related to Electronic Funding Transactions (EFT) changes and failures
Required qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in disability claims or financial training preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • High school diploma required
  • Familiarity with disability claim management concepts is helpful but not required
