Job Summary
A company in the legal industry is seeking an Associate General Counsel.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and advice to stakeholders and senior leaders in data privacy, fintech, payments, tech, and finance sectors
- Monitor and assess federal and state data security, privacy, and consumer protection laws and regulations and assess how legal requirements affect ActBlue initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience and knowledge of legal matters in data privacy, fintech, payments, tech, and finance sectors
- JD and license to practice law (in any state)
- Ability to provide thought partnership and leadership in developing innovative legal and risk management strategies
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
