Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel for Africa & Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage the Africa and Europe Legal Team to deliver high-quality legal services
• Assist in managing the Global Legal Function and enterprise risk of the organization
• Lead legal, risk, and compliance management work in Africa and Europe

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent and license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• 7 years' relevant legal experience as a general corporate attorney
• Experience negotiating complex transactions and agreements
• Some global experience and familiarity with working across cultures
• Experience in financial transactions, project finance, M&A, and impact investments
