Associate GIS Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate GIS Analyst to support their GIS team in analyzing and managing geographic data.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of GIS databases and systems
- Perform spatial analysis and geospatial data processing to support projects and decision-making
- Create, update, and maintain digital maps and other GIS-related products
Required Qualifications
- Certification in GIS (e.g., GISP)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Information Science, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS platforms
- Experience in spatial data analysis, including data manipulation and geospatial modeling
- Strong knowledge of spatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, etc.)
