Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Linux Kernel Engineer to join their kernel development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software feature/test cases for Linux device drivers and networking devices
- Write design documentation and test plans while learning about chip/NIC and switch documents
- Perform performance profiling and optimization for HPC/AI/Storage networking fabric
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier institution; Master's or PhD is a significant advantage
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience with Linux or FreeBSD kernel development
- Deep curiosity for computer architecture and how data moves through various systems
- Expertise in using AI tools for coding, unit testing, and debugging
