Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Managing Editor in the healthcare agency sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead editorial work for assigned accounts, including medical editing, fact-checking, and preparing submissions
- Manage and provide feedback to Senior Medical Editors and other editorial team members
- Ensure compliance with medical/regulatory/legal submission processes and develop account-specific editorial guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in English, journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of medical editing experience in relevant industries
- 0-2 years of management experience
- Proficiency in AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for pharmaceutical advertising
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
