Associate Merchandise Planner

Job Summary

Supporting the planning and allocation processes, the full-time remote Associate Merchandise Planner will develop merchandise plans, analyze sales trends, and prepare reports to optimize inventory and maximize sales across assigned product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly assortment plans aligned with financial targets
• Manage reforecasting of category plans and analyze business trends to inform markdown and promotional strategies
• Coordinate with Merchants and Allocation Team to implement seasonal strategies based on various market factors

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in planning systems and BI tools preferred
• Ability to convey complex data clearly across all organizational levels
• Proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments
• Collaborative team player with a strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
