Associate Network Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a collaborative and high-energy team, the remote contract Associate Network Engineer will deploy and support network infrastructure, monitor performance and security, and assist with Azure networking components while gaining hands-on experience across enterprise and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and security, responding to alerts and troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Provide tier-2 support for network incidents and collaborate with senior engineers on upgrades and migrations

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on networking experience in an enterprise or managed services environment
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
• Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Azure networking including VNets, subnets, and VPN connectivity
• Certifications such as CCNA or Azure Fundamentals are a plus
