Associate Night Shift Medical Biller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Medical Biller for a night shift work-from-home position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Posting medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts accurately and in a timely manner
• Working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process and receive payment for claims
• Verifying insurance filing information, identifying coding problems, and notifying clients

Qualifications:

• Experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid
• Ability to handle protected health information in accordance with HIPAA
• Experience with claim processing and denial management
• Ability to review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain missing information
