Job Summary
To support a busy dermatology and rheumatology practice, the full-time Associate Patient Care Coordinator will verify patient insurance coverage, manage patient scheduling, and address patient inquiries while working remotely in Worcester, MA.
Key responsibilities:
- Verifies patient insurance coverage and updates demographic information using a computer-based system
- Schedules and coordinates patient visits and medical procedures, communicating changes effectively
- Handles patient-care related calls and responds to urgent needs by contacting healthcare providers
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a clinical setting
- 1+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPIC
- Must be at least 18 years of age
