Associate Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a busy dermatology and rheumatology practice, the full-time Associate Patient Care Coordinator will verify patient insurance coverage, manage patient scheduling, and address patient inquiries while working remotely in Worcester, MA.

Key responsibilities:

• Verifies patient insurance coverage and updates demographic information using a computer-based system
• Schedules and coordinates patient visits and medical procedures, communicating changes effectively
• Handles patient-care related calls and responds to urgent needs by contacting healthcare providers

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a clinical setting
• 1+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPIC
• Must be at least 18 years of age
