Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Associate Penetration Tester will conduct internal and external network penetration testing, collaborating with senior testers on live client engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct external and internal network penetration tests, including attack surface enumeration and privilege escalation
- Validate vulnerability scanner output and perform remediation retesting while capturing reproducible evidence for findings
- Operate strictly within the authorized scope and rules of engagement on every engagement
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years in IT, systems or network administration, SOC, or a related field, or demonstrable hands-on offensive security skills
- Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMB, LDAP, and HTTP/S
- Working knowledge of Windows and Active Directory, including common misconfigurations
- Familiarity with standard tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, and Burp Suite
- Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
