Associate Principal, Market Access

Job Summary

To support a growing Market Access practice, the full-time Associate Principal will manage client portfolios, develop strategic pricing and contracting solutions, and serve as a subject matter expert on government pricing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and secure business in the life sciences sector with a focus on strategic pricing and contracting
• Manage client projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with Avalere's expertise
• Mentor and train staff within the Market Access practice while generating public recognition for pricing capabilities

Required qualifications

• Advanced or undergraduate degree in health policy, public health, economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in consulting, payers, or the healthcare industry
• 3+ years in access, formulary, and coverage strategy; and reimbursement-specific policy
• 2 years of project team leadership experience and 5 years of management/supervisory experience
• Proficiency in government pricing and reporting, including ASP, AMP, and Best Price calculations
