Associate Producer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Producer to support day-to-day production and editorial needs for a live news program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with production tasks including writing lower thirds, editing SOTs, and coordinating with studio crew
• Participate in daily production meetings, suggesting topics and producing visual/audio elements for the show
• Conduct research, fact-checking, and booking guest hosts for segments

Required Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of the political climate and current events, with a passion for Progressive politics
• 1-2 years of experience in digital or TV production preferred
• College degree or equivalent experience; degrees in Political Science or Journalism preferred
