Key Responsibilities

• Hire and review freelance copy editors and proofreaders, ensuring quality and accuracy of manuscripts
• Maintain schedules and ensure error-free production under tight deadlines
• Collaborate with editorial, design, and production teams to troubleshoot project-related issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in a production editorial environment or equivalent
• Knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style
• Proficiency in using track changes in Word and markup tools in Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple assignments
• Experience in performing quality assurance checks on ebooks
