Associate Project Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Project Engineer to assist in providing technical support during project origination and development phases for solar and energy storage projects across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with technical due diligence and project development engineering
• Prepare conceptual layouts and support system energy modeling using relevant tools
• Provide technical assistance to the Project Engineering team and visit project sites for data collection

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or energy engineering science with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in solar or energy storage project engineering
• Familiarity with ground-mount and battery storage projects in distributed generation
• Experience with permitting processes with local authorities and utilities
• Proficiency in engineering software and energy modeling applications, such as AutoCAD and PVsyst
