Associate QA Tester

Job Summary

Supporting software testing activities for a key Department of Veterans Affairs program, the full-time Associate QA Tester will execute manual test cases, validate application functionality, and document defects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and document test results
• Validate application functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria
• Identify, document, and track software defects using approved tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 1-3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or information technology
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts
