Associate Scientific Director

Job Summary

To support a collaborative medical communications team, the remote Associate Scientific Director will ensure high-quality, evidence-based deliverables while partnering with clients and guiding medical writers in the development of impactful scientific content.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the quality-control process and guide medical writers to ensure strategic alignment and excellence in deliverables
• Engage with clients, authors, and key opinion leaders to shape scientific narratives across various therapeutic areas
• Contribute to content development, regulatory review, and strategic planning for projects while identifying opportunities for innovation and growth

Required qualifications

• Advanced life sciences degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD)
• 2-3+ years of experience within a medical communications agency
• Demonstrated expertise in medical/scientific writing and content development
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams
