Associate Scientist (Chemist)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Associate Scientist (Chemist) to support environmental consulting work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC and data validation activities, including tracking validation progress and performing quality checks
• Manage project environmental data trackers and ensure timely reporting of laboratory deliverables
• Coordinate with project managers and laboratories to confirm sample documentation and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in environmental field work or an analytical laboratory environment
• Working knowledge of environmental laboratory deliverables and data workflows
• Valid driver's license
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
