Associate Scientist, Florida

Job Summary

Supporting the University's research goals, the part-time Associate Scientist in Florida will perform laboratory experiments, contribute to research activities, and oversee research employees while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Contributes to research activities, including authorship of scientific publications and technical reports
• Supervises research employees and manages grant submissions and budgets
• Conducts experiments, analyzes results, and maintains databases for active research projects

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD) required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with grant writing and budget management
• Familiarity with university financial systems and grant e-submission systems
• Ability to learn new procedures and technologies quickly
