Job Summary
Working remotely on a night shift basis, the Associate Security Analyst will analyze real-time security events, leverage generative AI tools for threat detection, and conduct forensic analysis to support incident response efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze real-time security events across endpoint, network, and cloud environments, utilizing AI-infused alert summarization platforms
- Leverage generative AI security assistants to translate threat hypotheses into advanced detection queries, enhancing threat hunting and triage
- Conduct host and network forensic analysis to support incident response, correlating signals to understand attacker activity and assess impact
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Experience using generative AI security assistants and AI-infused tools in security operations
- Familiarity with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
- Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment or a specialized Information Security role
- Proficiency in scripting and understanding of AI prompting techniques for cybersecurity use cases
