Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Associate Security Analyst will analyze user behavior and logs, monitor SIEM alarms, and assist in developing detection capabilities while contributing to a next-generation Security Operations Center.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze user behavior, logs, and alerts from various security technologies for clients across multiple industries
- Monitor, triage, and investigate SIEM alarms and client support requests
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and suggest remediations
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity, risk management, or security operations
- Experience with SIEM and EDR tools for monitoring and responding to security incidents
- Proven experience in investigating potential threats through proactive threat hunting
- Strong ability to triage events and accurately identify real threats versus false positives
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, PCI, GDPR)
