Job Summary
Working remotely or in a hybrid capacity, the full-time Associate Site Reliability Engineer will monitor and support the live production environment, manage incident responses, and assist with release management while developing essential skills in a collaborative global team.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the live production environment to identify potential issues or anomalies
- Respond to system alerts and incidents, escalating and taking action under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assist with incident communications and participate in post-mortems to document observations and track action items
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Some exposure to production operations, support, SRE, or incident response through internships, projects, or 0-2 years of professional experience
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and basic networking and web technology concepts (HTTP, DNS, TLS)
- Some scripting ability (e.g., Python, Bash) or a willingness to learn quickly
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting, with strong documentation practices
