Associate Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Technical Director's team, the remote Associate Site Reliability Engineer will focus on advancing site reliability engineering, cloud operations, and automation while ensuring the availability and performance of VA enterprise healthcare platforms and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with day-to-day Site Reliability Engineering activities and maintain service reliability and performance
• Participate in incident response activities and support monitoring, logging, and dashboard maintenance for system health visibility
• Contribute to automation tasks and support CI/CD processes for application and infrastructure delivery across various environments

Required qualifications

• Experience or coursework in site reliability engineering, cloud operations, or related technical fields
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident response processes
• Basic knowledge of automation, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure management
• Understanding of security and compliance standards in a Federal environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
