Associate Software Engineer
Job Summary
Excited to contribute to meaningful software development, the full-time Associate Software Engineer will build and ship well-tested features across frontend and backend technologies in a hybrid work environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and ship well-tested features across the frontend and backend with guidance from senior engineers
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers in an agile environment to deliver features and enhancements
- Write clean, readable, and tested code; actively participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 0-2 years of professional, internship, or project experience in software engineering, with exposure to both backend and frontend development
- Some familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and database technologies such as MongoDB
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and React fundamentals
- Exposure to modern JS tooling (npm/Webpack) and a willingness to grow into TypeScript and testing (Jest)
