Associate Technical Designer

Job Summary

Detail-driven and fashion-forward, the full-time Associate Technical Designer will support garment fit, construction, and pattern accuracy from concept through production in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution and tracking of garment fit, construction, and pattern accuracy throughout the development cycle
• Create and maintain comprehensive tech packs, including technical flats, construction details, and measurement specifications
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to troubleshoot fit and construction issues while ensuring adherence to brand standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related technical field
• Experience in a technical design role preferred, with a background in knits, active, lounge, or sleepwear a plus
• Strong understanding of fabric properties and foundational knowledge of pattern making and garment construction
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator) and Microsoft Excel
• Remote or hybrid work experience preferred
