Associate Triage Analyst

Job Summary

Joining the Triage Team remotely, the full-time Associate Triage Analyst will review high-volume security signals to identify potential threats, serving as a human filter for the senior Analysis team while participating in a structured learning program to advance in security analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly assess incoming security signals to determine if activity is benign or potentially malicious
• Dismissing non-actionable signals to reduce alert fatigue for the senior Analysis team
• Categorizing and tagging qualified threats, creating investigation tickets with initial context for the Analysis team

Required qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical skills from internships or self-directed learning
• Foundational understanding of operating systems (Windows/Mac) and basic networking concepts
• Strong curiosity and analytical mindset for following logical workflows to solve problems
• Clear written communication skills for documenting findings and creating escalation tickets
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Network+ are a plus, along with a demonstrated passion for security
