Job Summary

Evaluating and underwriting insurance risks for the 10-999 life segment, the full-time remote Associate Underwriter, Oregon Licensed, will build relationships with producers and internal teams while applying underwriting guidelines to ensure profitable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite insurance risks, ensuring sound risk selection and profitable outcomes
• Build and maintain effective relationships with producers and internal teams to support business growth
• Apply underwriting policies and state regulatory requirements to make accurate and compliant decisions

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred
• 2+ years of experience in underwriting or a similar analytical role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with state insurance statutes and regulations preferred
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
