Associate Variant Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Variant Scientist to interpret DNA sequence and copy number variants for genetic disease diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the pathogenicity of DNA sequence variants and copy number variations using established guidelines
• Review genomic data from multiple platforms and complete case-level analysis with minimal supervision
• Prepare clear and accurate documentation of findings for downstream reporting

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• PhD in medical technology, chemical, or biological sciences
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, error-free work
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Foundational knowledge of Variant Science preferred but not required
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
