Associate Vice President of Billing

Job Summary

Leading the Billing and Claims Edits department, the full-time Associate Vice President of Billing will oversee revenue cycle operations, manage team development, and optimize performance in a fully remote role within the DFW area.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically lead the CBO Billing and Patient Financial Experience teams, ensuring effective training and operational tools are in place
• Optimize hospital revenue cycle processes in collaboration with vendors and IT, focusing on improving cash flow and reducing claims edits
• Serve as a primary contact for financial officers, managing relationships and communication to enhance revenue cycle operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of experience in consolidated revenue cycle management, or an Associate's Degree with 5 years of experience
• 5 years of experience with EPIC Systems and multi-facility revenue cycle leadership in complex health systems
• 5 years of experience in revenue cycle and/or billing
• 5-10 EPIC Certifications in Billing, ITS, or Revenue Cycle preferred upon hire
