Job Summary
Leading the strategy and delivery of patient-centered educational programs, the full-time Associate Vice President, Patient Education will develop evidence-based resources to empower individuals and families affected by Parkinson's disease while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive patient education strategy aligned with community needs
- Lead and mentor staff in managing educational programs and resources, ensuring medical accuracy and accessibility
- Expand digital education platforms and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance patient learning experiences
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in a related field preferred
- 8+ years of experience in patient education or nonprofit program leadership
- Demonstrated experience designing educational programs for patient communities
- Strong understanding of health literacy and patient engagement strategies
- Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply
