Assumption Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assumption Processing Specialist-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan documents to determine if loans are assumable and prepare related correspondence
• Inspect file documents for completeness and obtain necessary documentation from borrowers/applicants
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and act as a liaison between various functional areas and customers

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of mortgage experience
• General knowledge of mortgage lending processes and terminology
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
