Assumptions Closing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assumptions Closing Specialist to support the assumption process in mortgage servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Review TRID pre-closing disclosures and validate loan and borrower information for accuracy
• Serve as a liaison among internal departments, customers, and third parties to facilitate issue resolution
• Monitor and confirm that assumption documents are properly recorded with appropriate counties

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage banking, mortgage servicing, or a related real estate field
• Prior experience processing mortgage assumptions
• General knowledge of mortgage lending processes and associated documents
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications efficiently
