Atlassian Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance Dropbox's Atlassian ecosystem, the full-time remote Atlassian Platform Engineer will manage Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Loom, focusing on administration, automation, and operational excellence while supporting escalations and platform improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Loom, and Atlassian Rovo, including configuration and troubleshooting
• Implement governance standards and perform platform maintenance activities to reduce technical debt and improve reliability
• Develop and maintain automation rules and workflows, utilizing Atlassian REST APIs for integrations and enhancements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of Atlassian administration experience, including strong hands-on experience with Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud
• Experience in configuring workflows, permissions, schemes, and custom fields within Atlassian products
• Proficiency in scripting or automation using languages such as Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or PowerShell
• Experience working with Atlassian REST APIs and integrations
