Job Summary

Driven and detail-oriented, the full-time Audience and Marketing Specialist will manage social media content creation, project management, and audience engagement strategies while working remotely across various U.S. locations.

Key responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and publish engaging social media posts across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and audience interests
  • Create and manage a content calendar for promotional campaigns, editorial launches, and trending topics while collaborating with editorial and podcast teams
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools to track engagement and adapt strategies based on audience insights and trends
Required qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience managing social media channels for a media organization, newsroom, or nonprofit
  • Familiarity with podcast promotional strategies and mission-driven storytelling
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create punchy, platform-specific content
  • Basic video editing skills using tools like CapCut or Premiere Rush
  • Proficiency in creating simple graphics using Canva or similar design tools
